Miramonte - Florverde CERTIFIED!

Florverde is the certification program for farms in Colombia to achieve
International Standards on Environmental and Socially Responsible Programs.

Florverde Certification demonstrates compliance with International Best
Practices in each of the following areas (there are 178 areas of emphasis to
be complied with):

Social Welfare - Personnel Administration, Payroll and Social Security,
Worker's Compensation, Safety Training, Wellness Programs including
exercise, maternity and parenting and general conditions such as restrooms
and lunch areas.

Phytosanitary conditions in the agricultural process including disease and
insect control.

Soil improvements, limitations on pesticide use, water conservation and
irrigation methods.

Landscaping and aesthetics, including trees, lakes and reservoirs.
Waste and residuals including mulch and recycling.

Three International Certifying organizations have developed the standards
based on International Best Practices
